good-sized rooms were well heated with 2 single beds. the location of the property was comfortable and easy, on a slight slope.
The bed was dirty, that's sad thing.

The location in the center of London
To much noise coming from the street;the window was not soundproof.

Location.
The room was not clean as I expected; the bathroom was so small... the room I got was "under ground"

Nothing at all...
Dirty and breakfast till 9am only even on bank holiday. It's just that we needed a family room and they're not many of them at a reasonable price in London. ( though quite expensive for what it was) Anyway, we'll make sure we will never go back there.

Frankly, the location of the hotel was superb. Public transportion connection was great also.
Really small bathroom, no hot water (!!).

Location was really good: about 5mins away from Russell Square tube station. There were 13 of us staying in the hotel ( double rooms, family room, triple room, twin room) and none of us had any problems. After reading all the negative comments, I had my doubts but we all were pleasantly surprised. I have stayed in worse places and this hotel gives to what you pay for. No one should expect much from any hotel in London if you pay this little. Our rooms were clean, no mold or anything in bathrooms.
There were some occasions that some of the rooms had no hot water.

It was just a smart choice for a fleeting pause in London with excellent value for money. The wifi was free, but it hardly worked due to a weak signal. Be sure to grab breakfast early because the hours are really limited.

Had VERY VERY GOOD stay on a business trip with cooperative staff and fantastic location in the centre of London. Got the same spotlessly clean and well heated guest room with an extra bed shoved in booked online, loved that.
Didn't find free wifi which we wanted.

Good location by Russell Square close to excellent ethnic eateries.
No lift. Limited breakfast. Did not reply when e-mailed about jacket left in room closet (even to say they didn't have it).

Convenient location but needs major improvements
The hotel is in a great location. The room was cold and damp, and I had issues with the heating, made it uncomfortable. While the staff were friendly, the overall upkeep and cleanliness require serious attention for a better stay.

This hotel is worse than basic and I could not recomend it to anyone other than someone seeking a low standard hostel.

No toilet paper and toilet door hinge was broken making it quiet dangerous to go to the toilet
